About Greg Hill
As a teenager, I became engaged in work for my school newspaper, covering a variety of in-school events which gave me my first real taste of journalism. Because of these experiences, I enrolled at the University of Strathclyde to study BA (Hons) English, Journalism and Creative Writing. I am currently in my Honours year.In terms of extra-curricular experience, I worked at video game website GodisaGeek from February 2015 until March 2017. Starting as a Staff Writer, I learned how professional online-based outlets work -- writing current news posts on a daily basis as well as reviewing games and producing feature articles. As News Editor of the site, I began to expand my influence of the types of news we published. I distributed news among our writers as well as incorporated the publishing of press releases into our daily schedule, giving exposure to smaller developers. During this time, I also built direct contacts with PRs for a variety of publishers and ensured we were producing high-quality content on a daily basis.From there, I was accepted to teach English in Japan as an Assistant Language Teacher on the JET Programme. Since August 2019, I have been based in Gunma, Japan, utilising my knowledge of the English language to educate those in my care.

I also became included in more of the sites running, directly contacting PR for a variety of publishers and building rapport as well as ensuring high quality and accurate coverage.
