I am a professional mariner with experience as an operational seagoing engineer, worked through extensive refits, new build positions and shore side management roles. I developed my skills and qualifications from time served pipefitter / heating engineer in the UK construction & services industry , later moving into the marine industry as an engineering officer cadet, and I worked my way through the licences to chief engineer unlimited. I have sailed as licenced engineer onboard in a variety of industry sectors including container vessels, offshore PSVs & AHTS vessels, cruise ships and most recently in the yachting sector.I also have shoreside experience working as technical manager as part of a small start up management company in yachting. Recently have returned back to new building projects, and currently employed as Chief Engineer on a 100m+ new build Superyacht.
