CEO, Founder and Organizational Development Consultant, Center for Technical Assistance & Training, Washington, DC 9/05-9/06, 9/97-12/03CTAT, a consultant company provided technical assistance and training to non-profits and local and municipal government agencies in the areas of organizational development, fund development, organizational management, program development, strategic planning, public and affordable housing programs, resident services programs, physical housing creation, board/staff development, youth development and social service program development.Accomplishments included: Obtained 16.6 milion dollars in public/ private funds for various non-profit corporations and government agencies/municipalities throughoput the United States Obtained, managed and monitored the HOME Technical Assistance contract awarded by the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development for a three year period in the form of reimbursable sub-recipient contract. The grant provided program development, program management, strategic planning, resource development and evaluation services to Bexar County Department of Housing and Economic Development and Merced Housing CDC in San Antonio Texas Consultant and Program Director for Move UP CDC in Kansas City, Missouri. My colleague and I created and served as adjunct staff for the CDC for this community based non-profit. We also managed and monitored the city contract of $400,000 dollars from the Kansas City Housing and Economic and Development Finance Corporation (HEDFC). CTAT obtained an additional 1,850,000 Move UP Community Development Project. Under contracts for (CTAT) I Supervised and coordinated the field operations of 10 consultants that provided field services in numerous cities including but not limited to: Detroit, Milwaukee, Little Rock, Kansas City, New York, Roseburg, Spartanburg, San Antonio, Dallas, Decatur, Cullen, Lawrence, New Haven, Dublin, Ft.Valley, Des Moines, Chicago,Champaign.Roseburg, Ann Arbor
