As a Software Engineer II I had several responsibilities, and successfully split my focus between 2 (two) projects.Navigator 1.9 (Legacy app) - I stepped into a legacy code base and was responsible for fixing bugs and integrating new features per customer or internal requests. - Bug fixes and new features often included writing or refactoring code in both the client side and front end, as well as the server side and API, and updating the SQL schema as necessary. Navigator 2.0 (Rewritten app) - I was involved in the complete re-write of the application. The goal was 1:1 feature parity while utilizing modern frameworks and technologies. - I helped plan and execute the initial build out of basic core functionality - As a team, we often utilized pair-programming and mob-programming to push through large portions of this initial build out. - Once core functionality was complete, I helped plan and execute individual tasks to reach full feature parity with the legacy app. Often including the new features I added to support the legacy app.

I built a system daemon to run on the company server, which will run a scheduled task to check a database for changes, then post those changes to each users Outlook Contacts default folder. It was written in C# on .NET Core using Entity Framework and utilizes the Microsoft Graph API to access Outlook.- .NET Core System.Threading- Microsoft Graph API- Entity Framework- SQL Server

As the lead developer my job was to maintain the the application, squash any bugs that came up, add features to the existing app, create installer packages to updated client workstations, maintain the cloud based database, and begin rewriting the app with modern software conventions.

I received focused and comprehensive training in software development. I leaned how to build responsive single page apps with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; and continued to full stack development with ASP.NET Core in C#.

My job was to locate and read gas and electric meters for Puget Sound Energy in the Puget Sound area.

My job was to lead my team and coordinate with the on-duty supervisor and IT support in each center to ensure that we were able to effectively clean and maintain dispatch consoles without disrupting the normal function of an emergency dispatch center. I would also coordinate transportation and lodging for myself and crew while my team and I were traveling to out-of-area dispatch center locations.

My basic function was to provide customer service and in-store manufacturer warranty support for AT&T wireless devices. This included basic diagnostics of any hardware and software issues, inspection of the device for anything that would void the warranty, utilizing software re-flash tools to correct any software errors, and in-store replacement of the device if it met the criteria. As supervisor my duties also included inventory control, shipping and receiving inventory, ensuring my team was current on all required corporate communications and education, and assuming manager on duty rolls when the store manager was away.

My job was similar to that of a residential electrician. I was the subject matter expert in my unit and I often trained my fellow soldiers on how to correctly wire structures according to the NEC.

As a home theater tech my job was to provide home entertainment solutions to customers. I educated customers on the differences between display technology, picture size, source technology, and home entertainment audio technology. My customers always left well educated and satisfied that they got the right solution for their environment without spending more than they budgeted.
