Responsible for preparation of the Bank’s regulatory reports in compliance with GAAP, legal and regulatory requirements following the company’s policies and procedures, including the Call Report - Consolidated Reports of Condition and Income for a Bank with Domestic and Foreign Offices, the FRY-9C – Consolidated Financial Statements for Bank Holding Companies, and the FRY-15 – Banking Organization Systemic Risk Report.

Oversaw and led all fund administration activities, including executing the accounting control environment under US GAAP across 400 iShares Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) and 750 Collective Investment Funds with $2 Trillion in assets in the U.S. and Canada, directed the management and oversight of external service providers, Fund Accountants, Custodians and Administrators and optimized key sysytem controls to improve the operating environment. Delivered on all Product Lifecycle Events, including new fund launches, liquidations, mergers and stock splits.

Delivered on all aspects of the Internal Audit group’s risk assessment, assurance, and advisory activities covering company businesses and operations, through audit planning, project management and execution. Effectively leveraged industry knowledge and experience in the investment management and risk management business, built strong working relationships with business partners, and delivered value added services to strengthen the risk and control environment.

Delivered strategic and tactical expertise in all facets of accounting, tax and fund administration across the $225 Billion Fund complex. Developed and maintained accounting & tax policies under US GAAP, SEC regulations and IRS guidelines for 76 funds and 15 ETFs. Directed all revenue collection, expense billing, allocation and processing, and review and approval of quarterly budget. Executed all tax functions in compliance with IRS guidelines, including tax return preparation, review, authorization and filing, and distributions of income and capital gains to clients. Led financial reporting, including coordination of external audits, refinement of financial footnote disclosures, certification process under SOX, and regulatory filings with the SEC.
