I have always aspired to translate social change missions into meaningful programs that help people. Luckily, I’m in a field where I can achieve those aspirations! I began working in the philanthropy and non-profit sector as a Leader with the Peace Corps in Mongolia. This experience solidified the importance of a career focused on supporting communities and building bridges across cultures. It sparked my interest in philanthropy and instilled strong values in me that continue to inform my work.Upon returning from the Peace Corps in 2011, I joined Global Greengrants Fund and have since been promoted through multiple roles, enabling me to deepen my skills across the following areas:KEY SKILLS:GrantmakingRelationship managementCollaborative leadershipRegulatory complianceSocial justice program management / operationsService coordinationNew business developmentData analysis / due diligenceExecutive / Board presentationsClient supportIn 2021, I became the Director of Operations for the Global Greengrants Fund, incorporating my knowledge from previous roles to deliver strategic guidance enterprise-wide. As an avid learner, I’m excited for each collaborative project to provide me with new perspectives in advancing the organizational mission. I work closely with the Board of Directors, lead a 7-member Grants Management Team, and promote a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEI&B). One of my greatest achievements has been implementing a program to foster input from all corners of the globe through our worldwide network, unleashing creative thinking and addressing challenges at the ground level.
