I presented a geocoding-based building numbering project to the municipal authority, and it was subsequently employed for contact tracing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Using this data, I was able to estimate the transmission rate of the virus, leading my university to deploy a team of engineers to support municipalities across Lebanon. I had the privilege of being selected as one of the supervisors for this vital initiative.
