Delivered enhanced Fraud altering capabilities by connecting Ally’s internal systems to the 3rd party Alloy. Ultimate value was driving down Ally Lending’s risk and compliance efforts by providing more thorough Fraud and KYC checks when new borrowers apply for a loan.

➤ Lead two scrum teams each with 15+ software engineers, product professionals, and quality engineers to deliver new experiences and enhancements to the Health & Wellness domain on myCigna, Cigna’s domestic customer-facing web portal and mobile app➤ Collaborate with digital product stakeholders and release train engineers (RTEs) daily to develop and drive plans to implement projects through the SDLC at the team and program level➤ Communicate consistently with team members and other key stakeholders to track/mitigate delivery risks and ensure critical dependencies are on track➤ Spearhead defect resolution by facilitating sessions to brainstorm creative solutions with all team members and using Jira for tracking purposes➤ Assist team in identification of technical debt and improvement opportunities – such as optimizing the team’s delivery and root cause analysis by refactoring the existing codebase➤ Advocate the Digital Engineering strategy of migrating on-premises services and infrastructure to AWS for improved system performance and reliability➤ Facilitate biweekly retrospectives to collect feedback on what the team is doing well and where there may be opportunities for continuous improvement ➤ Increase production release frequency by supporting team’s ability to deploy code bi-weekly (instead of monthly) using the CI/CD approach enabled by tools such as a monorepo in GitLab, LaunchDarkly feature flags, and test script automation
