My role was to ensure the system supports the implementation of effective scope management and that this links though an integrated planning process to cost, time, procurment and change management processes.Technical track champion of Sasol's Business Development and Implementation Model.• October 2006 to September 2008 Engineering Manager: Sasol Solvents Projects in Secunda. This includes the Solvent’s portion of the Secunda Growth Program as well several other projects (support of existing operations and growth).• August 2002 to 2007. Engineering Manager : Secunda Offsites Module for Project Turbo (Sasol's "clean fuels and polymer expansion" project). During this period the project progressed from the tail-end of the feasibility study through basic engineering, detail engineering, construction checkout and handover to project completion and close-out. • From July 2001- August 2002 Engineering Manager – Gas Conversion Portfolio within the Engineering Management Function. The portfolio included capital projects in execution exceeding US$1billion and included Sasol’s Natural Gas Project. I also had direct responsibility as Engineering Manager for several of the projects within the portfolio • From January 2001 to January 2002 Engineering Manager for the Natural Gas Pipeline Project. The scope of this project was a 26" dia. 860km, Class 900 pipeline from Temane in Mozambique to Secunda in South Africa.
