In addition to Digital Brand Manager duties:- Responsible for growing brand recognition and listener engagement of the six Cox Media Group Athens radio stations through various forms of online platforms as well as onsite and on-air promotional and event opportunities. - In charge of hiring, training and developing a team of 12 individuals that function as frontline brand ambassadors- Developing strategic relationships both internally and externally- Conduit between corporate and the local market regarding all training needs and policy changes that occur. - On-air talent- Receive remote/event requests from Sales Team and delegate to the appropriate staff members- Oversee and direct the staff responsible for planning, organizing and executing all cluster events for all stations- Attend events as necessary- Maintain event calendar to be shared with all necessary staff members- Provide proactive leadership and creation of promotional/event ideas to further grow our brands and potentially generate revenue- Hire, manage, train and develop all part-time promotional staff members- Execute all station giveaways both on-air and online- Distribute prizes to listeners, maintain Promo Suite system and provide all necessary information to corporate regarding winners- Establish and foster strong relationships with local/regional concert and event venues- Oversee department expense budgets- Oversee maintenance and management of cluster vehicle fleet- Brainstorm with sales and/or programming staff upon request- Attend out of office meetings with sales staff as needed- Establish and implement all annual priorities for the department
