Receiving, Carrying out and delegation of orders from my commanding officers in training and day to day operations. The full accountability of marines and their weapons, equipment, and personal gear under my charge. The planning, and execution of training exercises for small units up to platoon size elements. Security post duty both static and patrol and roving. Teambuilding, using teamwork to overcome set obstacles in training.

Received and implemented orders and directed deployment of personnel in offense, defense retrograde and training operations. Effective decision maker in high stress environments. Trained and instructed subordinates in urban and mountain warfare. Directed force protection efforts, anti-terrorism education training and pre-deployment certification programs. Led an infantry team of 4 members in live fire exercises and provided tactical guidance. Supervised operation and organizational maintenance of weapons systems and specialized equipment. Maintained rifles, belt fed crew serve weapon systems and grenades. 2010 Deployed to the gulf of Aden with the 15th MEU for anti-piracy operations against pirates along the Somali coast. As a detachment was responsible for the 9 September recapturing of the MV Magellan Star. Conducted several training exercises with various countries. Conducted ship security and port guard while in various ports throughout the west pacific.
