My name is Heather Combs, I am 32 years old. I went to Carrington College for Medical Billing, and Coding I graduated from that program in 2021 at the top of my class and made it on to the president's lists. What I like about going to Carrington is they allowed me the opportunity to work in an externship and get hired at First Choice Community Healthcare. I work as a Billing Representative (Hybrid), which means I also worked as a Patient Service Representative, which not only gave me experience on the front end. It in turn helped me become a better biller. I have worked all aspects of the Aging Reports, and have help increase collections in all areas. I am very familiar with Dentrix and Cerner, Excel, and insurance portals, PDF, posting daily payments. I have a great attention to detail, and I bring a new perspective to any task or challenges that may come my way.
