Substitute Teacher
Current•Serving PGCPS as a substitute teacher working the absence of regular teachers, primarily in elementary schools, serving Pre-K through 5th Grade classes within the county school district. •Aid students in understanding a myriad of subjects in the daily curriculum, while enhancing student learning during the period of absence of the regular classroom teacher; provide skills required for programmed lessons and purposeful training for the students•Provide instruction, individual tutoring to class on assignments as outlined in daily lesson plans•Take role, collect homework assignments, distribute appropriate materials as required by school office•Ensure effective discipline and class control; oversee and manage class activities, including lunch break, art, music and physical education and other specials during school day
