Deputy Vice President
CurrentResponsible for existing portfolio of transitional housing programs, including those in development or start-up as well as new/future programs. Current portfolio is comprised of 300+ employees and cumulative annual budget of $32M. • Principle oversight for the development and start-up of new transitional housing sites including site evaluation, proposal and budget development, contract registration, staffing, operating certificates and partner with other Breaking Ground departments to ensure each department’s needs are understood and met• Oversee 4-6 direct reports to ensure achievement of program performance measures including budget monitoring and development, thoughtful implementation of policies and procedures, adherence to contractual and regulatory guidelines and employee performance management and staff development• Align with agency quality assurance and finance departments to manage complex government contract procurements including contract registration, renewal, amendments & modifications, ensure priorities are understood internally and externally and appropriate action steps are developed, tracked and accomplished• Strengthen existing relationships and foster new ones with service partners, peer nonprofits, funders, and other government and community stakeholders through participation in meetings, taskforces, work groups and tours and providing technical assistance and swift response to emergent on-the-ground issues
