Installs, configures, upgrades and maintains systems application programs. Develops testing procedures for new and existing programs to meet business requirements. Provides functional area computer systems expertise to support assigned modules of various integrated computer systems. Documents business processes and system functionality and procedures to insure the proper use of application systems throughout the Business.Analyzes application problems independently and develops a corrective action plan to solve the problem and eliminate the root cause of the problem. Instructs users in system operation and assists other departments in understanding the capabilities of the application systems within their functional responsibility.Troubleshoot network, hardware and software problems and back up IS staff in help desk functions, providing technical support to users via phone and in person.
