Analytics Development Program

I am leading a research project on representation in the media through an analysis of Saturday Night Live. I am using various databases and LDA in order to code the information and discover trends and evolution over time. My primary advisor is Professor Paul Fischbeck

I am a part of the D3 lab working on projects aimed at assisting first generation college students. Professor Linda Babcock is the project leader.

The only first year selected to be a Carnegie Leadership Consultant. I am responsible for planning and leading workshops to assist campus leaders in development of their organizations. I am the Leader of the Women Leadership Program and the Co-Leader of the Community Outreach Program, in addition to being on the marketing team. I am also the liaison for the Social Impact Coalition of Carnegie Mellon, where all of the student leaders gather for meetings and organization development.

I worked under the consumer insight team as an analyst. I completed a competitive analysis of Disneyland competitors, initiated the Gender Equality Metric campaign into Disney marketing materials and surveys. I analyzed the representativeness of the sampling for the Disneyland Resort surveys, then I presented my findings to the Executive Director of the Consumer Insight team.

I was in charge of establishing and developing the marketing department for the small business Ohio Handyman. I used search engine optimization and Google Adwords to increase customer acquisition. I also created the Meet Our Team and Photo Gallery pages of the website. I increased clicks, lowered the bounce rate, and increased session time for the website and advertisements. I also managed the social media accounts, including creating a presence on Nextdoor and Pinterest. Finally, I created an Operations Manual for the entire company to get ready for the owner hiring an office manager.

I was the leader of the Teens Against Prejudice Organization, which was the liaison between the students and faculty regarding any issues of diversity. This included monthly meetings with the school board, facilitating and planning school wide meetings, organizing speakers and outreach events, and training younger students.
