I used computational chemistry techniques to perform calculations on superconducting materials. I performed Potential Energy Surface (PES) and Vibrational Frequencies calculations to understand organic chemistry reaction mechanisms. 09/21-09/2023: Research in the laboratory of Professor Quanxi Jia, Department of Materials Design and Innovation, State University of New York at Buffalo, on thin-film superconducting materials processing and application in superconducting microelectronics. I studied thin film superconducting niobium nitride and its applications in low-dimensional nanostructured microdevices such as SNSPDs (superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors) and constructed a research paper discussing the effects of certain processing parameters on the properties of the product material. Additionally, I am researching thin film ferroelectric materials. I performed tests to characterize epitaxially grown ferroelectric films, specifically BZT-BCT and SRO-STO relaxor ferroelectrics.09/2023-Present:First year undergraduate student majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology at UC Berkeley. Undergraduate researcher in Hockemeyer Lab focused on understanding human diseases with next generation genome editing and human stem cell techniques that provide dramatically improved recapitulation of human biology compared to traditional animal models and tissue culture systems.
