In this position I managed inter and cross-departmental process improvement projects, coordinated the migration of new groups/users and deliverables into a Content Management System (CMS), and handled adoption activities of supported software. I had the pleasure of overseeing the day-to-day operations of an amazing 4-7 person team responsible for technical troubleshooting, maintenance of departmental tools, new hire and refresher training, and content production. I was also the system owner of the departmental CMS which included providing sign-off on upgrades/system decisions, hosting vendor meetings, managing high urgency troubleshooting events, and communicating system information to the leadership team.Key Accomplishments:• Achieved goal of 0 design related artwork revisions for BlackBerry 10 launch by providing direct oversight of collaborative initiative with print vendors.• Reduced backup time and database growth rate, improved CMS performance and enabled system outage compartmentalization by representing team interests in inter and cross-departmental meetings, ensuring adoption of software and hardware changes recommended by team members.• Improved productivity by interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and mentoring 2 full-time employees as well as 2 co-op students per 4-month term.• Enhanced morale by setting and reviewing role/growth objectives regularly and completing/delivering yearly performance reviews for team members.

I completed high volume, time sensitive output generation projects for technical writing teams. Additionally, I managed the printed artwork release process, maintained relationships with 6 globally distributed print vendors, and provided final approvals for proofs.
