My love for public relations is derived from my values, skills and passions. I have always valued my relationships and view them as the main contributors to my own identity. I possess strong communication skills that have benefited my interpersonal and professional interactions. These aspects coincide with my passion for creating understanding to achieve environmental harmony. I cannot say that I know many individuals who’s career embodies them at their core, but I am proud to say that my work in public relations embodies mine. Currently, I am utilizing my values, skills and passions to pursue a bachelors degree in mass communications with a concentration in public relations and minor in psychology. During my time at Virginia Commonwealth University, I have obtained skills in graphic design, executed public relations strategies, and have produced professionalized content. Outside of my curriculum, I am a proud member of PRSSA, the sorority of Zeta Tau Alpha and Her Campus. These organizations have allowed me to pursue leadership opportunities, volunteer work, and a safe social space to grow as an individual. I would love the opportunity to contribute my character and expand upon my work by connecting with other likeminded individuals!
