Engaged with introducing a new membership structure with Sutton Hockey Club for the 18/19 season involving a wider team, with the proposed joining together of the junior, ladies and men’s section which were all separate organisations previously.There were many areas to align and my role was and remains as Membership Secretary with a club membership (playing) of over 450 and a wider connectivity through parents of juniors in excess of 600.

A voluntary post on behalf of Sutton Coldfield hockey club.As a result of the Covid 19 pandemic all sports clubs required a Covid Officer, and hockey is no different. It involves weekly submission to track and trace of all participants – players, coaches, umpires and volunteers linked to our training and matches.Sutton Coldfield hockey club boasts over 500 members across the men’s, ladies and junior sections. With a national league ladies 1st XI, regularly 16 senior sides (men and ladies) representing on a Saturday and a junior section of over 160, the role was and remains integral to playing hockey in the current COVID climate, when restrictions allow.

Arranged the inaugural Awards Dinner and Charity Gala Ball in 2006 to celebrate the successes of the season for Sutton Coldfield Hockey Club. Chaired the Committee that arranged the event for eight years which has around 180-200 attendees each year. The event has raised over £5000 for various charities over the years to date.
