Hello! As you've likely seen, my name is Max Poole. I'm twenty-two and I just moved back to South Carolina to focus on pursuing higher education. I've been working since I was in high school, in a variety of positions. I was a member of the food service industry for a few years, as well as working niche summer jobs. In my highest responsibility role, I was a Smoothie King employee, coming in as a Team Member and working my way to Shift Lead. That was my first taste of real responsibility, as well as experience in more roles, such as POS, training, inventory, cash management, et cetera.Summarizing the past four years is no simple task, but I decided to forgo higher education to pursue a budding career opportunity presented to me, and to provide for my family. I spent over three years with Legacy T&PC as the primary termite technician for two branches, occasionally providing extra assistance to our other offices when it was needed. In my time there, I acquired many useful skills, namely customer service, time management, and chemical procedures / safety, as well as some sales experience. We were a small office in a localized community; it was easy to take pride in the work performed. Getting the job done right was always more important than getting it done quickly. Our clients came to us with issues, whether it be termite, pest, or moisture, and our team devised a plan to eradicate their problems. I am extremely grateful to have had that opportunity, and will never forget my time with Legacy. Legacy and I parted ways at a monumental turning point for me, which was brought on by personal issues. I got offered a position with Pest Pro Services in a higher responsibility, faster paced role, and decided to jump at the opportunity. I continued my education of the chemicals, procedures, and specific types of pests, once again becoming a valued member of the work community I was put into - especially with the amount of experience I was bringing. However, I made the tough decision to leave only a couple of months after coming on board, after visiting home for a short vacation. Being close to my family is very important to me, especially to cherish the high risk members that I have been unable to see previously only a handful of times yearly. Now that I am in SC, I am looking to go back to school, and continue accumulating more experience, as diligently as ever. Thank you, Ian
