For the last five years, I have been leading the Industry Engagement, Communications, and Education teams at Ontario One Call. My team and I are responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that enhance awareness, education, and compliance within the damage prevention industry, which involves various stakeholders such as excavators, utilities, municipalities, regulators, and the public.I deeply understand the challenges and opportunities that affect the safety and efficiency of excavation activities across the province. My core competencies include integrated marketing and communication strategies, brand management, public, media and government relations, consumer engagement, regulatory compliance and enforcement, team leadership, coaching, mentoring, training, public speaking, project management, budget preparation and management, logistics and operations. I leverage these skills to create value and drive growth for Ontario One Call, its members, and its partners. I also hold an MBA degree from the University of the People, which has enhanced my business acumen and strategic thinking. My mission is to promote and foster a culture of safety and collaboration among all parties involved in the damage prevention industry, and to contribute to protecting the environment and the public.
