Work on teams as a project manager and GIS specialist to establish needs of technical and non-technical users, and translate them into solutions for clients. As part of Future Analytics' professional service provision, I am particularly experienced in the provision of: Housing needs analysis; Urban economic studies; GIS visualisation, data modelling, and web application development. Day-to-day activities centre around: ►Coordinating Data Analytics/GIS activities between the company and other external agencies.►Designing project methodologies for assigned projects to include the primary staff assistance in identifying needs and acquiring Dashboard/Data/GIS products and services.►Data visualization and presentation of information in both print and web formats (Adobe Creative Suite, Tableau, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Leaflet, AGOL).►Provision of GIS expertise and data insights to support decision-making and business intelligence.►Supervising a team of programmers, cartographers, analysts, and support specialists.►Socioeconomic, environmental and other spatial data analytics using ArcGIS, SQL, R and Excel for public and private sector reporting.►Developing GIS tools for loading/transferring GIS data between different systems (ETL).►Using custom geo processing tools to examine datasets, create new information or investigate patterns. (e.g. estimating the number of people potentially affected by flooding, using population growth figures and planning information to estimate increasing/decreasing demand for school capacity, or calculating the number of potential customers for a new supermarket and predicting buying patterns based on socio-economic factors... and just about anything else you can think of using data for).
