Inside a dairy, I was in charge of the maternity area, supervising and if necessary helping the calvings. It was my responsibility to evaluate the newborn, clean it and perform the disinfection of the umbilical navel and then feed it with colostrum.In a feedlot, it was my responsibility to diagnose and treat sick calves; also to perform postmortem examination.
