Palpation of ovarian structures with ultrasound, pregnancy diagnosis, AI, ET, follicular aspiration (OPU)

In different dairies along the San Joaquin Valley, my duties are the application of synchronization protocols, perform a correct heat detection and carry out the insemination process.

Inside a dairy, I was in charge of the maternity area, supervising and if necessary helping the calvings. It was my responsibility to evaluate the newborn, clean it and perform the disinfection of the umbilical navel and then feed it with colostrum.In a feedlot, it was my responsibility to diagnose and treat sick calves; also to perform postmortem examination.

The "Cuenca Lechera de Tizayuca" is a group of small dairies; I was giving service in the reproduction area. The most common activities were treatment of fresh cows, application of synchronization protocols, artificial insemination and diagnosis of pregnancy.250 – 400 milking cows per dairy

In the dairy, I had the opportunity to be in the reproduction area, applying and supervising the synchronization protocols, participating in the insemination and assisting in the diagnosis of pregnancy. I participated in the process of drying the cow and assisting calvings. I also diagnosed and applied treatments to cows, especially fresh cows.4000 milking cows
