During my time working as the intern for Milwaukee Shines, I assisted with customer recruitment and education for their city-wide solar group purchasing program which installed 120 kW in 2017. I played a key role with customer recruitment utilizing a mass marketing effort by tabling at community events like farmers markets, Midwest Renewable Energy Fair, and placing door hangers at suitable homes for solar installs, as well as placing yard signs throughout the city. I also helped with customer education by assisting with presentations educating potential customers about solar technology, financing installs, tax incentives and the benefits of going solar. I managed the customer database by inputting/organizing all potential and committed customer's contact information and then distributing to necessary peers. Through the internship, I gained the NABCEP Solar Associate certification after taking a two-week long course learning about solar technology, financing, site surveying, design, and completing two installs within a group.

As the CEO Intern at Employ Milwaukee, I assisted the CEO and CEO's assistant with administrative needs such as organization, updating/scanning files for digital copies. I assisted key staff with meeting arrangements, notes, and follow up tasks. I also helped with preparation for meetings including a quarterly Board meeting. I Used Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe Illustrator to create documents for team members to use during presentations.

During my time working at Dreambikes I served as one of the lead sales associates along with being a bike mechanic. The company, being a non-profit, relied on donations of bicycles, accessories, and monetary donations which I helped collect at donation events as well as in the store. I also represented the organization at events such as bike races and community events.
