Leading young people on team building activities, life-skills sessions and a charity project of their own design, where my team raised over £1,200 and the whole cohort raised the most money of any NCS group nationally (over £7,000), breaking our own record from the previous year.

Planned and delivered science lessons to students between the ages 11 - 18, whilst studying for a PGCE

I started as a team mentor but was promoted to team leader for the second half of the programme. My team created a charity disco event raising over £800 for their charities. Our cohort was the only one to maintain all the young persons on to the second stage of the programme. Our cohort raised the most money of any NCS programme that year, over £5,000 and was ranked number 1 for satisfaction nationally by the young people and their parents.
