Deloitte’s NY Private Wealth team specializes in serving the income, estate & gift tax planning needs of family office and other privately owned businesses. Most recently, Jamie served as the leader of Deloitte’s Investment Management tax practice in New Jersey. He has over 29 years of public accounting experience serving private equity, family offices, and Ultra High-Net Worth families. Jamie provides tax compliance and advisory services to these private investment funds and their sponsors, with a focus on utilizing technology to deliver timely accurate tax reporting for annual and transactional filings. Jamie's experience with partnerships, LLC's, and S-Corporations has enabled him to add value to his clients in many ways including, LP/LLC agreement review, entity and transaction structuring, tactical income tax planning, and negotiations with IRS and state taxing authorities. He provides technical advice, investor relations guidance, and technology driven solutions to his clients related to transactions and investor tax reporting. Additionally, Jamie has successfully obtained favorable Private Letter Ruling’s for his clients.
