Current• Lead HR and safety functions at 155-person air filter manufacturing plant. Act as strategic business partner for operations group by designing, aligning and implementing people and safety processes to meet organizational needs and objectives. • Accountable for salaried and hourly talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, leadership development, compensation and benefits, communications, EEO compliance, AAP and risk management/safety. • Serves as part of a corporate and global project team that implemented Workday (HRIS) and ADP payroll at the plant. • Serves as HRBP to consult with internal stakeholders on corporate-wide HR and EHS policies, procedures and initiatives. • Led cross-functional team that revised attendance policy to reduce employee absenteeism and increase individual accountability. • Initiated transition from 5-panel drug test to 10-panel drug test for pre-employment/post-accident for the corporation. • Successfully managed two on-site TOSHA inspections, which resulted in reduced penalties and fines for the site. • Negotiated contracts with staffing and safety vendors that resulted in a lower mark-up for contingent labor and safety training.• Overhauled plant contractor compliance and visitor safety programs as well as developed new incident investigation process.
