BSc Computer Forensics and Ethical Hacking GraduateMy dissertation topic was a prototype upgrade for the open-source intrusion detection system named SNORT. This involved collecting traffic of 2 types, general use traffic (email, website and youtube) and controlled portscan traffic using the Backtrack 5 virtual machine. The final prototype improved overall efficiency of the software in detecting portscans with the XMAS characteristic. The implemented algorithm gave the software the ability to learn from characteristics and adapt its approach accordingly. From staring as a hobby repairing and assiting friends and family with technology as a child, I have maintained my passion for technology and continued to further my career via managed services.Working in various elements of the Managed Services since 2014, gaining virtualisation experience and architectural design experience which is my focus today.Skillset includes deployment of several programming languages including C# and LUA etc. Confident with forensic developments EnCase, FTK, FTK imager, Celebrite and other Penetration testing softwares.Virtualisation via VMware suite and tools, HyperV and virtualbox lab design.Personal email - available upon request
