I began speaking the German language as a small child in my German grandparent's home. I graduated from Indiana University in 1976 with a degree in Germanic Languages and Literature. I also have a B. A. Degree in Psychology from Indiana University (1978). I translate personal data for local companies in the greater South Bend/Mishawaka area, most of which is technical German. Much of my work is translating texts. I have traveled to Germany as a translator for the Robert Bosch Company.

Worldwide

In additional to editing, and translating in my "semi retirement" years, I've been very blessed to be able to travel all over the World. Since traveling is one of my passions, I have had the opportunity to write recommendations of countries, hotels, restaurants, places to see and things to do so that other travelers can sift through the mountainous task of trying to decide what's worth their time/money to do when they are in that particular area. I have also found other contributors' recommendations very helpful. It's very enjoyable to be able to contribute to this travel site. The World is an adventurous, beautiful place and I try to share my favorites.
