All user-facing content was served via static, pre-rendered HTML files.* A Q&A system (AHAMU), and commenting and authentication systems for the new site.* A PhoneGap (Cordova) based app for YAMU which we deployed via both iTunes and Google Play, as well as the RESTful API for this app. Also initiated experimentation (much later) with React Native (just a few weeks after its initial public release by Facebook), which led us to conclude that RN was a completely viable platform for us to move our app to.* A pizza ordering and delivery app for Harpo’s Pizza, with an accompanying vendor backend for them to receive, confirm, and change the status of each other, as well as the assorted RESTful API for this system.* A Dialog Ideamart app to deliver SMS alerts to key stakeholders when a pizza order arrives.An ad scheduling and management system for the YAMU site, and delivery of ads via AJAX requests on static pages.* A complete rewrite of the YAMU site as a custom CMS, which was built from the ground-up in PHP, taking influences from the earlier WordPress system. It was later migrated to Laravel, and used Eloquent ORM for more powerful, performant, and easier to understand database logic.* A Facebook Messenger bot (SantaBot), created for HSBC Sri Lanka to promote their Christmas deals.In addition to these technical projects, I also contributed managerial and analytical help in running the company, including doing analysis of site traffic, helping set up the Sinhala editorial unit, and being team lead of the Dev department until June 2016.
