The Director of Communication assists in the day to day operations of the School of Music administrative offices, and specifically oversees areas of recruitment and marketing for the School of Music through a variety of tasks including:- Connection with all undergraduate and graduate prospective students- Serve as liaison between School administration and Marketing personnel for the creation of promotional materials and marketing pieces- Management of all recruiting and promotional materials for the School of Music- Management of School of Music webpages and social media profiles- Coordination of catering for special events and celebrations- Oversee all details pertaining to the travel of School of Music gospel choir

Assisted with the practical training of students in some of the following ways:- Connecting Worship students with local ministries for practical, hands-on ministry training- Assisting in placing worship students for internships in churches throughout the country- Assisting in job placement services for worship leaders- Coordination of travel details for university gospel choirIn addition, the Director of Practica assists in the general operations of the School of Music administrative offices.

Worked as a teaching assistant for Worship faculty by assisting with the following items:- Editing of course syllabi- Assignment grading- In class presentations- General administrative duties to support faculty and students

Assisted in the academic operations of the Center for Worship through the following tasks:- Grading of Music Theory and Musicianship homework, tests, and quizzes- Tutoring of students needing assistance in Music Theory and Musicianship- General office administrative duties- Monitoring practice room and computer lab facilities- Ushering and assisting with concerts and events
