Among my many responsibilities as the administrator and curator of this collection, my primary responsibilities in include: + Overseeing critical aspects of building the Behind the Scenes collection such as sourcing archival material, defining the scope of the collection, and digitally curating archival material to be hosted open access on the JSTOR platform. + Work with a large group of sourcing institutions including academic institutions, public libraries, historical societies, museums, and community archives to gather information and historical documents about the Civil Rights era, commonly during the 1950s-1960s+ Promoting the Behind the Scenes collection through conferences and public speaking engagements within the archive and library community while creating marketing materials such as newsletters and email campaigns to increase program participation -
