In addition, Jay handles select commercial cases.Jay was born in Miami, Florida. He moved with his family to Texas at the age of seven, and has lived here since then. He grew up in Houston and Corpus Christi, and then attended the University of Texas, where he obtained both his undergraduate degree and law degree. After college, Jay moved to Houston in 1980. He has practiced law based from Houston his entire career. With his wife of 26 years and two adopted daughters from China, Jay is a member of Houston's First Baptist Church and teaches Sunday Bible Study there.
