CurrentMaintains the filing system for organizational credentialing consistent with current practice and with organizational policies and procedures.Utilizes the organizational credentialing filing system consistent with current practice and with organizational policies and procedures.Prepares applications for credentialing/recredentialing appointments and reappointments for community hospitals and facilities.Assists with obtaining information and documents required to accompany applications for credentialing/privileging appointments and reappointments, for hospitals and community facilities.Prepares correspondence for credentialing and re-credentialing as necessary.Obtains proof of admission privileges for organizational physicians.Prepares and maintains Advanced Practitioner Registered Nurse Protocols for all nurse practitioners of the organization and all lines of business.Performs electronic queries for verification and sanction information, including National Practitioner Data Bank, consistent with organization policies and procedures.Performs primary source verification of DEA Registration and assists with DEA Registration renewal.Performs electronic queries for primary source verification of credentials for all staff consistent with current practice and organizational policies and procedures.Tracks expired practitioner credentials of all staff, for the organization and all lines of business, and coordinates updates of the credentials in accordance with current practice and organizational policies and procedures.Credentials employees of the organization as directed with organizations, including, but not limited to, Accushield, HealthTrust/Parallon, and Reptrax.Performs all other credentialing duties as assigned by the Manager of Legal and Regulatory Compliance - Credentialing.
