Since 2006, I have grown and managed the Tripawds support community for amputee pets and their people. On a daily basis, I maintain our global WordPress multisite network of 2000+ three legged dog and cat blogs plus numerous free resources including popular discussion forums, live chat room, Tripawd Talk Radio podcast, toll-free Helpline, and more.

When our dog Jerry was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and we went through the difficult decision of amputation, Rene and I developed a simple WordPress blog to keep friends and family informed about his bleak prognosis. Jerry lived happy life on three legs for nearly two years. In that time, the blog where we shared his story (tripawds.com) has grown into the largest online resource for canine and feline cancer survivors, other three legged pets, and their people.I now personally manage the WordPress multisite network which hosts 1,900± blogs with more than 18,000 members – numbers that grow every day. Together with Rene I've published three Tripawds e-books, including Three Legs & a Spare, a comprehensive interactive PDF handbook addressing the most common concerns regarding the diagnosis, treatment and recovery of canine amputees. Loving Life on Three Legs is an extensive canine amputee rehab and conditioning guide. Cool Tips for Tripawd Cats is our first feline amputation recovery and care guide.In 2019, Rene and I published the story of how Tripawds came to be in our book, Be More Dog: Learning to Live in the Now. Featuring a foreword and original artwork by MUTTS® creator Patrick McDonnell, Be More Dog was ranked a #1 New Release in Veterinary Surgery and Travel with Pets on Amazon.

As president of the 501c3 Tripawds Foundation I manage all aspects of our network with 1800+ free member blogs, discussion forums, our online fundraising platform, self-hosted annual auctions, and more technical operations. I also manage various grant disbursement and veterinary financial assistance programs.

On The Road

In June, 2007, my wife Réne and I sold our full service graphic design and production business and our home in Eureka, CA to hit the road with our three-legged dog Jerry and travel the United States in a fifth wheel trailer and biodiesel powered pickup truck. In 2009 we found our Rocky Mountain dream property where we now spend our summers. As seasonal RVers, we enjoy publishing the LiveWorkDream.com blog where we document our adventures, provide full-time RVing tips and post video interviews of interesting folks talking about their communities or life on the road. Working from home, wherever we park it, we are now helping others learn how to do the same with our "Income Anywhere!" and free home based business consulting at http://agreda.com

As Lead Developer, Project Manager, VP of Marketing, Quality Assurance Director, and Head Janitor at RVblogz.com I set up free travel blogs for full-time RVers and other travelers who want to easily document their adventures and keep in touch with friends and family while on the road.I install WordPress software for users at the subdomain of their choice (i.e.; www.yourblogname.rvblogz.com) and create an admin account for them at no cost, giving them complete control over their own travel blog.For an additional fee I provide premiere blogging solutions including custom, ad-free WordPress installations, domain registration, and more for users who want a blog at their own primary domain.

I operated heavy equipment including a backhoe, dump truck, bucket loader, and farm tractor with hay rake. I demolished a deck and built a new larger one. I removed a shingle roof and rafters from one building, and installed new metal roofing on another. I built a well house from recycled material and finished it with siding I milled from a tree I felled. I graded a dirt road, and painted far too many cabins.

Together with my wife and business partner, I developed and maintained MarcomAndPOP.com -- the premiere online storefront and client intranet delivering total marketing communications and point of purchase graphic solutions. We provided professional graphic design services on demand to clients nationwide, and produced large format graphics for trade shows, retail displays, banners, packaging comps, and more. In June of 2007 we sold the MarcomAndPOP brand along with our home office and production facility in Eureka, CA and are now traveling the united States with our three-legged dog Jerry in search of the next big thing.
