• Help facilitate regional Program Manager DEI training & create tangible materials for implementation. • Support the Director of Talent & Equity to implement and create DEI initiatives at the org-wide level. i.e. codesigning Code Nation's DEI Strategic Plan. • Responsible for developing marketing material, recruiting strategies and networking with under-resourced schools to increase the brand awareness and the creation of several new programs within the new San Jose region for the company.•Manage, coordinate logistics, & ensure the success of the program at 3-4 high school sites. Coordinate & provide instructional coaching for teams of volunteers as they teach the Code Nation curriculum ensuring student and volunteer satisfaction and retention.• Member of the organization's DEI Leadership Team and assisting in advancing tangible actions in support of Code Nation's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.• Co-plan weekly Bay Area Anti-Racist Talks to facilitate conversation within the region on anti-racist actions and topics• Act as a liaison between Code Nation and partner schools. Communicate with school partners, stakeholders and region about the success of the program and any concerns.• Coordinate logistics for Code Nation classes, field trips, and special events.• Collect and manage student and program data. Manage student attendance, participation, and mastery of data. Track and analyze all data using Salesforce. • Recruit, train, and onboard new volunteer teachers. Attend Meetups and city-wide events to represent Code Nation and recruit new volunteers. Conduct volunteer training and support volunteers through the onboarding process.• Facilitate and plan Black student affinity group events • Work with facilitators to scope audit, plan for affinity spaces and create shared definitions of what an anti-racist and pro-Black organization is.
