Tenacious | Curious | Builder | Creative | High-Capacity | Customer FocusedI’m inspired by the discoveries creative people can make - even during times of scarcity and uncertainty - when they don’t shy away from challenges, when they let their curiosity and creativity fuel and direct their problem-solving.This summer, the world witnessed an example of this tenacity and creativity in the launch of the Webb telescope, a wildly creative and unique invention that turned a blurry sky into a wealth of new discoveries.I’m hardly the guy who can launch a telescope into outer space, but the effort and the success of this endeavor, and the stories of ingenuity - the idea of folding mirrors like origami - along with the examples of determination - managing around 344 single points of failure - resonate with me.While I try to focus on challenges here on earth, I love working hard to find those sudden Eureka! moments, as well as the discoveries that evolve at a slower pace. I am able to frame up a challenge or opportunity at a high level; I also recognize the importance of grasping the details that go into discovering and implementing a solution. And I’m a builder at heart. I thrive when I’m called to use my creativity to build solutions for an existing - or future - problem. I also love building relationships, teams, and organizations.
