As the Head of Electrophysiology, I manage client studies and internal R&D at Neuroservice. The team consists of 19 talented scientists with expertise in patch-clamp electrophysiology, multi-electrode array (MEA) and data analysis. We co-design studies with clients from multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies that provide elctrophysiological endpoints for their drug discovery programs.

Investigated the connectivity of CSF-contacting neurons in the spinal cord using a combination of in vivo patch-clamp recording, optogenetics, and imaging. Collaborated with the Del Bene lab (Institute Curie) to study synaptic dysfunction in a model of ALS using paired motor neuron - skeletal muscle recordings, calcium imaging of presynaptic boutons and electron microscopy to investigate neuromuscular junction ultrastructure.
