Drawing from my varied professional musical experiences (detailed below), I mentor aspiring guitarists and songwriters, guiding them to reach their full potential by providing them with the tools it has taken me a lifetime to acquire – all the knowledge I wish I could go back in time and give my younger self.

Specialize in creating accurate, user-friendly guitar transcriptions and have contributed note-for-note transcriptions to over 300 official guitar songbooks for publishers such as Hal Leonard and Cherry Lane Music. Greater New York City Area

Composed folk/pop songs with shades of classical guitar. Released two albums, "Jeff Jacobson" (full band, 2007) and "Lunch in the Park" EP (solo live, 2009)... Performed at various Lower East Side, East Village and Brooklyn venues such as Rockwood Music Hall... Sideman on electric and acoustic guitars for various songwriters, both recording and performing.

Abatab provided indie artists with a new revenue stream, while offering their fans accurate and affordable sheet music. Songs were licensed directly from the artists, who received a majority of sales proceeds.

Greater New York City Area

Recorded and performed with various artists, and worked on a number of projects with producer Phil Ramone. Toured and played venues such as Beacon Theater (NYC) and Universal Amphitheater (L.A.), as well as The Tonight Show.
