USS Lasalle (AGF-3), Gaeta, Italy. Systems Administrator: Responsible for administration, security, maintenance, troubleshooting, and casualty correction of ten Windows NT servers, one HP-Unix server, 300 Windows 2000/NT Workstations and various Navy proprietary systems for both the classified and unclassified local area networks. Provided professional customer service to over 400 users.Network Lead Technician: Managed a team of 3 technicians responsible for administration, security, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and 24/7 casualty correction for the shipboard local area network consisting of: 15 Alcatel OmniSwitches, 23 Alcatel OmniStacks, 3 Cisco routers, and 1 Proteon router. Team responsible for resolving all point to point network connectivity issues throughout the ship.

Provided problem solving and preventative measure for database reconciliation; proactively identified and corrected database problems, resulting in increased efficiency for the Armed Forces of the United States. Recognized for outstanding communication and customer support to National Security Agency, Coast Guard, Marines, and Navy units throughout a major personnel shortage. Maintained inventory of the Navy’s largest communication security equipment account, totaling over 100,000 piece of gear. Created and maintained standard operating procedure manuals for Electronic Key Management System (EKMS), Navy Key Distribution System (NKDS), Local Comsec Account Reporting System (LCARS), and fire safety. Awarded Navy Good Conduct and Navy Achievement Medal (x2). Cleared to Top Secret.
