Worked with executives, department heads and employees to bring together the Information Systems of four companies acquired since 2008. Migrated all websites and e-mail to new standardgroup.com domain while maintaining access to prior domain names. Designed and implemented network infrastructure to support communication between companies during and after moves. Replaced all aging server and workstation hardware from acquired companies with Citrix thin client system to reduce TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) through reduced hardware costs and simplified administration. Worked with engineers and consultants to migrate systems to redundant VMWare environment further reducing administration costs as well as utility costs. Designed and implemented improved backup systems for MIS systems and Prepress Department. Researched and implemented IP Phone System and MPLS Network that successfully improved both voice and data communications between three facilities in Reading, Lititz and Lancaster while reducing overall costs. Currently working as a member of several change teams to "Simplify" the Information Systems and overall workflow between departments and facilities with a focus on increasing efficiency and reducing costs in order to better service our customers. Managed projects to install reverse osmosis water system for pressroom and humidification system for digital press area, press room and bindery. Worked with department managers to clean up facility and remove unused equipment. Improved efficiency and longevity of dies used for Letterpress by installing vertical shelving and moving dies from 3rd floor to 1st floor closer to equipment. Managed and provided physical labor to refurbish warehouse including removing existing interior walls and electricity, designing layout of racks and installing racking system. Researched and negotiated purchase of 1st Digital Press. Managed project to refurbish area of Prepress for installation of HP Indigo as well as managing the installation of the press. Worked with engineers, steel workers and riggers to improve structure of building for installation of Heidelberg CD102 on 2nd floor of building. Managed all aspects of installation of CD102 including plumbing, electric, and rigging.

Researched and worked with all department managers to implement a new MIS system encompassing all facets of the business including estimating (both print and direct mail), job entry, inventory, purchasing, job costing, fulfillment, shipping and accounting. Worked with consultants and engineers to design and install necessary servers, software, workstations and networking equipment to support new MIS system across two physical locations in Lancaster and Reading. Responsible for ongoing maintenance and administration of MIS system. Responsible for installation and maintenance of mail, web, ftp, file, print, Citrix and database servers running Microsoft and other software products. Provided both Mac and PC hardware/software and Prepress consulting services to clients. Researched new phone system and managed installation and training for Reading facility. Responsible for all adds, moves and changes to phone system which were accomplished with little or no outside assistance. Researched, implemented and managed online inventory system, web-to-print/variable data system and PURL (Personalized URL) Software.

Within 3-4 months of starting this position, two operators left the company and I was able to keep up with the workload on 2nd shift independently. Trained to operate drum scanner for backup and overflow when needed.
