Performed as Senior Application Developer under contract with VML through RiverPoint. This role included working with technical architects, business system analysts, customers, and co-workers to help refine requirements, design a solution and lead a small team of developers to create ASP.NET applications written in C# regularly against a SQL Server database. Clients and Projects worked on include: VetStreet - ASP.NET/C# application with a Postgres database - Lead a team to add reporting and charting features to the existing ASP.NET/C# portal using DevExpress XtraCharts and XtraReports controls- Designed and developed the order fulfillment middle tier layer of the E-Commerce section of the site submitting the orders to the distributor's web service. - Designed and developed a Single Sign On scheme. Due to the phased migration of the PHP portals into ASP.NET applications and in order to create a seamless cross application experience a Single Sign On scheme was developed that would allow for links to be created in either environment to access protected pages in the other environment. - Came along side co-workers to help migrate and improve the existing PHP portal to an ASP.NET/C# application enhanced with jQuery and included necessary modifications to existing queries for modified and new functionality.Simon.com - ASP.NET/C# application with a SQL Server database- Site team in the site refresh project providing creative and functional updates, including enhanced UI experience through the use of jQuery, to the site while integrating with existing site functionality. - Prepared Simon.com for the holiday season with new features and renewing some prior year and older framework holiday functionality.CollegeGameDay.com – ASP.NET/C# application with a SQL Server database- Designed and developed a data access layer and admin user interface in ASP.NET/C# to drive the content made available to the ESPN College Game Day Flash based site.

Continued development, support, and enhancement of sales C# applications. Development included management reports to help view direct report's activities and performance. The management reporting required the consolidation of the individual user's databases into a central SQL Server instance on a nightly basis. This consolidation process allows for disconnected updates made during the day by the sales force. ASP.Net web services were also utilized to facilitate the transfer of call activity between user's local databases when territory alignments changed.Support of an IIS and SQL Server 2005 Servers. This support includes performance monitoring and configuration, query tuning, SSIS package development, database design, and management. The focus has been on creating stored procedures and views that empower the intra-office community to better manage and present the information to their users. Reporting technologies included: Windows Forms and ASP.net applications, LogiXML, Crystal Reports, Reporting services, and Access databases. Enhancements and support to the Pay for Performance Goal setting application. This application was built on windows forms written in Visual Studio 2003 C# and communicated with SQL Server 2000. The goals are processed monthly by applying various algorithms to the statistical information and applying defined goal growths. The sales management is then able to make modifications to their team's goals while maintaining their overall goal numbers. These goals can then be viewed and approved by the sales force. Clients and Projects worked on include: Yellow TransportationDesigned and developed ASP.Net C# applications for field sales management Developed distributed Sales Account Analysis Reporting (SaarIQ) tool and Scorecard reports that were distributed to each sales account executive and management weekly. These reports were Excel documents that were enhanced through VBA to allow the users to interact with the data for effective analysis H&R BlockDesigned and developed a multi-user Access database application to track projects from request to completion or closure. Developed on call database providing online management rather than manual lists, monitoring processes for various platforms, a trouble ticket analysis tool, and automation of Microsoft Office for the creation of reports. Web-enabled (using SQL Server and ASP) several tools that were used by floor support, improving user access and document reliability.
