CAP Mentors specialize in providing Warrington students with peer-to-peer career development assistance in their search for great internship and job opportunities. I consult with students during office hours to provide career-success services including building a resume, preparing a cover letter, conducting mock interviews, and providing job seeking strategies. I also engage in the accounting and recruiting committees to increase participation with accounting students and others through events related to recruiting timelines, companies, and career options.

I am serving as Treasurer of my chapter. I organize chapter finances, work to provide fair budgets, and diligently perform numerous duties related to the financial well-being of the chapter. I consult with chapter officers and other sorority officials to balance and finalize a budget;. Additionally, I ensure membership dues and other fees are collected, and that all members, parents, university officials, and sorority officials are properly informed regarding financial responsibilities and the state of the budget.

I serve my chapter as the finance assistant by coordinating bills, planning the budget for the year, and organizing chapter finances.

As an Innovation Committee member, I brainstorm new ideas for the Florida Leadership Academy to inspire both program and mentee growth and development. I work closely with an advisor to enhance the corporate relations between the program and companies. I dedicate my time to researching, developing, and enacting new initiatives and creative ideas to implement in the program.

I meet weekly with a mentee to advance their networking skills and give advice on academic planning or involvement opportunities. I communicate with alumnae, mentors, and mentees to form new connections within the organization.

BUMP is a mentorship program that aids the development of career readiness, professionalism, academic success, and one-on-one relationships. BUMP is a highly selective process in the UF Heavener School of Business. I was selected from a competitive pool of over 100 applicants as one of 50 mentees to pursue personal development, leadership skills, academic success, and career development. I met weekly with a mentor to advance my networking skills, and receive advice on academic planning and involvement opportunities.
