Served as the Geospatial Engineering Technician for an Infantry Brigade Combat Team consisting of six subordinate battalions with over 3,500 personnel. Responsible for leading and training a five Soldier team that provides terrain analysis products and briefings to support the brigade commander, subordinate battalions, and intelligence warfighting function. Analyzed and developed imagery, maps, geospatial information, terrain studies, and overlays to determine the effects of terrain on the brigade's operations during the planning process. Coordinates with United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM), National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA), and other national intelligence and geospatial agencies in support of and preparation for brigade level exercises, and Pacific Pathways 20-01. Was Responsible for theaccountability, maintenance, and operation of equipment valued in excess of $1 million.

Provided invaluable visualization of the land and battlefield in advance of sending troops into unfamiliar terrain. From conditions and effects of terrain and weather on vehicles and troop movements, to points of tactical interest during missions, I examined all aspects of the battlefield before boots ever hit the ground. Extracted and analyzed geographic data from satellite imagery, photography, and field reconnaissance, then used the data to create different types of maps and databases.
