Everything I do responds to one question: How do we tell stories that are clear, persuasive, and truthful? My work is about organizing thoughts and experiences into messages and narratives. That’s true whether I’m training Fortune 100 executives in leadership development, helping mid-career professionals craft application essays that reflect their experiences, teaching students across the globe to perform Shakespeare with clarity and honesty, or designing new marketing strategies for theater companies. I'm a teacher, artist, and academic specialist. I work with a number of boutique education firms in New York, train corporate teams with Leadership Masters, and direct the Education Department at the not-for-profit SoHo Shakespeare Company. Above all, I am a storyteller and educator. You can catch me teaching Elizabethan rhetoric to artists in Sydney, coaching executive function skills to high school students in Hong Kong, or as a salty lawyer on the newest episode of FBI: Most Wanted. In 2015 I completed a Fulbright grant in Uruguay, where I worked with the U.S. Embassy to develop a new film and language course in the city of Casavalle. I taught theatre, cinema, and English in Montevideo, and in colleges and high schools throughout the country.I hold a Masters of Liberal Arts from Harvard's Institute of Advanced Theater Training, where I was a Teaching Fellow. I graduated suma cum laude from Tulane University, on merit-based scholarship, with degrees in political science (honors) and Spanish language. I began work in New York as an associate for BeneStream, a social venture startup expanding public access to Medicaid. I then joined Opus, another social venture startup providing job-specific language education for mid-career food workers. I'm a whip-fast learner and deep listener, with published research on economic policy in Latin America and experience advancing goals in the private sector and NGOs. In Washington, D.C. I provided research support for senior policy analysts at a public-interest lobbying firm, reporting on congressional hearings for state-level healthcare funding and international trade missions. I am tech-savvy, fluent in Spanish, a meticulous writer, and a passionate player of folk guitar.
