About Justin Tirados

I am a passionate immunology researcher interested in how immune cells get their phenotype through studying signalling pathways. I have a background in molecular techniques including generating gene knock-outs using the CRISPR-Cas system. The main technique I use in my Ph.D. research is full spectrum flow cytometry. I have developed a 27-colour immunophenotyping panel for our laboratory that can identify B cells, T cells, NK cells, and myeloid population, and phenotype them using inhibitory receptors, transcription factors, and cytokines. There are provided spaces in the panel to add markers of interest for the other researchers in the laboratory.
