After having served in the US Army for 20 years I retired and moved to Eva, AL. I have served on the town council for the past 9 years as the fire and safety representative. I prepare and conduct all of the safety classes for town personnel. As part of my town council responsibilities I serve on the medical board. In that capacity I am the point of contact fior the company that operates the clinic. Ensure that user comp[laints are resolved in a timely and efficient manner, and represent the town council in all dealings with the operating company. I am responsible for locating and applying for grants for town improvements. To date I have supervised the installation of approximately 2-3 miles of sidewalk where none existed before. Presently am supervising the installation of 2 tornado shelters that will serve the town. During my military time I spent about 4 years with the US Navy, I served as the Technical Control Officer for a large mid Pacific communications center that served the Pacific fleet.After retiring from the Army I worked with the Army Environmental Restoration program for approximately 4 yaers.
