Responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of an entire project through budgeting, hiring team members, sourcing suppliers and planning the project release. Duties include setting deadlines, providing feedback and communicating with clients about the status of their project.

Project management for starting new stores. Helping build menu and layout from conception to construction completion and store opening. Managing timeline of construction, equipment install, etc.Implementing value added programs and managing the overall operations of all locations. Develop, implement and monitor budgets to drive and maximize profitability of organization. Motivate and empower employees to think outside the box to promote and maintain high productivity. Assist company officers in the development and formulation of long and short-range planning, policies, programs and objectives to promote growth of business.

Develop and promote a manufacturing environment that provides a safe and responsible production process. Assures all production goals are met. Accountable for scheduling and production of facility. Manage and implement manufacturing improvement projects and standards. Promote and manage cost reduction programs. Efficient disposition of scrap and scrap reduction projects.

Manage multiple projects to ensure value added to customer (Mars Food). Coordinate with associates and contractors to ensure project success. Responsible for all aspects of engineering a project including: equipment specifications, construction/installation bid packages, request for quotations, process design and equipment sizing, efficiency improvements, layout development, feasibility, and safety. Project management duties include: defining scope, estimating costs, developing and managing timelines, controlling budgets, assisting in start-up, and long term support.

Oversee contractor activities to ensure execution of construction contracts according to MDEQ/SRF regulations. Interpret plans, specifications and contract documents to ensure environmental standards. Observe and inspect project sites. Manage finances and payments of projects. Evaluate and approve construction change order proposals. Monitor contractor’s schedule to ensure timely completion. Prepare reports on construction activities and schedules. Analyze and prepare construction budgets for management.
