Experienced Science Research Technician and EducatorExperienced field and laboratory science researcher with emphases on ecological/environmental studies. My research also examines physical aspects such as tidal advection (and other fluid dynamic aspects) and their impact on the foraging ecology of salmon fry. I have also been heavily involved with climate change research in the Arctic, namely, sea ice dynamics, surface currents (as related to heat budget modeling) in the Chukchi and Bering Seas and Arctic ocean.Experienced educator with 20 years of classroom and laboratory teaching experience in math and science. I have taught math classes ranging from arithmetic and other remedial courses up to and including calculus III. I have taught in the traditional classroom as well as the online environment. This includes developing, writing the lessons used in the courses and updating courses for online instruction (Calculus 3, Introductory Statistics). I have taught a variety of science courses, primarily in the biological sciences including general biology, ecology, anatomy & physiology, vertebrate zoology. I have also taught general chemistry, physics, earth sciences, physical science. I have taught to all grade levels, learning abilities and to all age groups.
